Lucknow, Nov 18 (NationPress) BJP MP Dinesh Sharma expressed his views on a video released by suicide bomber Dr. Umar Mohammad, in which he sought to rationalize his suicide attack. Sharma firmly stated that terrorists would “not get biryani” but would instead “go to Jahannum (hell)”.

In an interview with IANS, Dinesh Sharma remarked, “He has reached Jahannum. Those who aim to incite chaos must realize that such thoughts cannot prevail in India. This nation is not a sanctuary for terrorists, and any terrorist present here will face justice.”

He further emphasized, “It is no longer feasible for them to come and relish biryani. They will not receive biryani; they will go to Jahannum. Regardless of who the terrorists are, they will not escape punishment.”

Shortly after the Delhi explosion, a self-recorded video of the driver, Dr. Umar Mohammad, emerged on Tuesday, in which he attempted to justify his heinous scheme, referring to it as a “martyrdom operation”.

In the video, which features a heavy accent, Umar seeks to tie his terror plan to religious beliefs.

He states, “One of the most misunderstood concepts is that of suicide bombing; it is a martyrdom operation, as it is recognized in Islam... There are numerous contradictions and debates that have arisen against it -- martyrdom operation.”

Umar further elaborated that a “martyrdom operation” occurs when an individual believes they are destined to die at a specific time and place.

This video unveils the suicide bombing mentality, suggesting that he had meticulously planned a large-scale terror attack.

Sources indicate that officials suspect Umar, a key suspect in the “white collar” terror module, created this video to manipulate others.

The car blast near Delhi's Red Fort Metro Station on November 10 resulted in the deaths of at least 13 individuals and numerous injuries. Dr. Umar, a physician linked to Faridabad's Al Falah University, was behind the wheel.

Originally from the village of Koil in Pulwama, Umar’s relatives have characterized him as introverted and reserved, often indulging in reading.

However, police reports suggest that his demeanor shifted in recent months. He had missed university commitments since October 30 and frequently traveled between Faridabad and Delhi, visiting mosques near Ramleela Maidan and Sunehri Masjid.

Authorities indicated that he vanished on November 9, following police raids in Faridabad, which resulted in the confiscation of nearly 2,900 kg of ammonium nitrate and the arrest of several associates.

During investigations, law enforcement discovered that Umar and Dr. Muzammil, who was arrested after the police dismantled the terror network, had traveled to Turkey, believed to be where their handlers are stationed.

Point of View
