Chennai, May 6 (NationPress) The Tamil Nadu Class 12 public examination results will be released on May 8, which is a day earlier than the previously scheduled date of May 9. The Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE) has confirmed that the evaluation of answer sheets is complete, and all preparations are set for the timely announcement of results.
Initially, the DGE had anticipated the results for May 9, but recent updates from officials indicate that the date has been pushed forward.
Efforts have been made to ensure that students are informed about this change in schedule.
According to the Tamil Nadu School Education Department, a total of 8.21 lakh students participated in the Class 12 state board examinations. Furthermore, 8.23 lakh Class 11 students and over 9.13 lakh Class 10 students took their exams, totaling more than 25.57 lakh students across all three grades, including 20,746 students with disabilities.
The Class 12 examinations took place from March 3 to March 25, Class 11 exams from March 5 to March 27, and Class 10 exams from March 28 to April 15.
