Noida, Aug 4 (NationPress) A state of alarm enveloped the Sector-58 locality of Noida on Monday afternoon when the lifeless bodies of two men were discovered inside a parked vehicle, according to officials.

The automobile, identified by the registration number UP 14 MT 8207, was located adjacent to a private biology academy near Khoda and had reportedly remained stationary at the roadside for several hours.

Officials reported that pedestrians became wary when they observed the car had not moved for an unusually extended period.

Upon closer inspection through the windows, they noticed two men lying still within the vehicle. The incident was promptly reported to the authorities.

A police unit, led by officers from the Sector-58 police station, hurried to the scene. The car was found locked from the inside, and after gaining access, both individuals were found unresponsive.

They were pronounced dead at the scene, and their remains were dispatched for a post-mortem examination.

Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (ADCP) Sumit Shukla stated the police received reports regarding the unmoving vehicle around 1:30 p.m.

“There were no visible signs of injury on either body. At first glance, it appears to be a case of suffocation. Nevertheless, the definitive cause of death will be clarified only after the autopsy results are available,” he commented.

The deceased were identified as Sachin (27), son of Ramgopal Sharma, and Lakshmi Shankar (50), son of Tuki Ram—both of whom resided in Khoda Colony in Ghaziabad.

Initial reports indicate that the two were neighbors.

A team from the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) also arrived at the site to carry out a detailed analysis of the vehicle and its surroundings.

So far, no indicators of foul play, struggle, or external injuries have been found.

“The area is currently calm. We are examining the situation from various perspectives. Legal actions will be taken based on the autopsy and forensic findings,” the police stated.

Family members of the deceased have been notified and have arrived on-site.
