Patna, Aug 15 (NationPress) In a deeply disturbing incident on Friday evening, two children - a girl and a boy - were discovered dead under enigmatic circumstances inside a parked car in Patna.
The tragic event took place in the upscale Gokul Path area of the Patel Nagar locality, which falls under the jurisdiction of the Patliputra police station.
The victims have been identified as Laxmi Kumari (7) and Karan Kumar (5), siblings. Upon receiving the distressing report, police arrived promptly at the scene to retrieve their lifeless bodies.
“We have summoned the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) team to gather evidence from the vehicle. Initial investigations have not provided any clear insights regarding the incident. Visible signs of physical assault were absent on their bodies,” stated the SHO of the Patliputra Police Station.
“The deceased have been sent for a post-mortem examination to ascertain the cause of death. The car has been seized for a thorough scientific examination,” he added.
