Bokaro, Feb 5 (NationPress) In a tragic event, three family members lost their lives and two others were critically injured after a herd of elephants went on a destructive rampage in Bokaro district, Jharkhand, early on Thursday morning, causing widespread panic and sorrow among the locals, according to officials.
The unfortunate incident took place in Barkipunnu village, located in the Gomia block. Villagers reported that a herd of elephants invaded the area around 7 p.m. on Wednesday, but residents successfully managed to drive them back into the nearby forest by raising an alarm.
