The Chief Executive Officer of Agartala Smart City Ltd, Shailesh Kumar Yadav, stated that the initiative, which commenced in 2023, has revitalized a previously deteriorated, crime-ridden area into a lively 31-acre public green zone, now recognized as the largest green public space in Tripura.

Previously, this location was notorious for anti-social behavior, including criminal activities, with some instances involving murder victims being discovered in the vicinity.
