Gwalior, Sep 9 (NationPress) Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia is scheduled to undertake a three-day extensive visit to his Lok Sabha constituency, Guna, located in the Gwalior-Chambal region of Madhya Pradesh, starting Wednesday.
Upon his arrival at Gwalior airport on Tuesday evening, he informed the press that he will engage with the residents of Guna and Gwalior and inaugurate a series of developmental projects during his stay.
"My itinerary includes visits to Guna, Shivpuri, and Ashoknagar districts, where I will present several gifts in the form of development projects to the people. Under the guidance of PM Modi, we will ensure that both Gwalior and Guna continue to thrive," stated Scindia.
After reaching Gwalior on Tuesday, he participated in a public meeting and attended the 'Chhamavani' (forgiveness) event of the Jain community. He also visited the Baba Mansur Ali Shah's Dargah to seek blessings.
Last month, Scindia—an heir of the erstwhile royal family of Gwalior, who serves as the Lok Sabha MP for Guna—conducted a four-day extensive visit from August 21 to 24.
During a public address in Guna, he criticized his political opponents, stating that while many come during favorable times, they vanish when the public is in need.
Scindia, along with Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, conducted an aerial survey of the flood-affected areas in Guna. Since then, he has been consistently monitoring the relief efforts in his constituency.
Last week, he reviewed the flood relief fund and compensation distributed by the state government to the residents of Guna, Shivpuri, and Ashoknagar districts.
It is significant to note that over 30 lives were lost, and more than 400 individuals were airlifted from Shivpuri, Ashoknagar, Kolaras, Chanderi, and Guna districts, which are part of the Guna Lok Sabha constituency represented by Scindia since 2002, barring the period from 2019 to 2024.
