Lucknow, Nov 2 (NationPress) On Sunday, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath graced the 4th Convocation Ceremony of Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia National Law University, extending his congratulations to the graduates and wishing them success in their forthcoming journeys.
The Chief Minister expressed that the University stands as a symbol of pride for both Uttar Pradesh and the nation, acknowledging the crucial role of law graduates in fortifying the country’s judicial framework.
CM Yogi Adityanath articulated that for India, dharma transcends mere worship, representing a lifestyle where fulfilling one’s duties is the essence of true religion. He stressed that a resilient judicial system is vital for democracy, asserting, “The stronger the judiciary, the easier it becomes to achieve the objectives of good governance.”
Referring to the historic ideal of Ram Rajya, he stated that just and impartial governance can be achieved today through contemporary good governance systems.
He further highlighted the government’s initiatives to bolster the judiciary, mentioning the promotion of e-Courts, Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR), Cyber Law training, and the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI).
The Chief Minister revealed that modern infrastructure—comprising classrooms, sports complexes, and hostels—is being established across universities, along with skill development and training for judicial officers, prosecutors, police, and administrative officials.
He announced that integrated court complexes are being constructed in Uttar Pradesh, with financial resources already allocated for 10 districts.
These complexes are designed to accommodate all levels of courts, advocates’ chambers, and residential facilities within a unified campus. He added that the Allahabad High Court has set a benchmark for world-class infrastructure.
“To ensure prompt justice for women and children, over 380 fast-track and POCSO courts have been established, while Lok Adalats are being reinforced to facilitate swift and amicable dispute resolutions. Forensic laboratories are now operational in every police range, and the Uttar Pradesh State Forensic Institute is providing specialized training to youth,” CM Yogi articulated.
He concluded by mentioning that efforts are in progress to unify e-Court, e-Policing, e-Prosecution, and e-Forensic services on a cohesive digital platform to enhance the justice system’s speed, transparency, and efficiency.
