Lucknow, Oct 3 (NationPress) Over 250,000 young individuals have submitted their applications to the state government, requesting financial assistance through the Mukhyamantri Yuva Udyami Vikas Abhiyan for the financial year 2025-26, highlighting its impressive popularity among the youth.
As per a government announcement, in just the first six months of this fiscal year, more than 63,000 young people have received loans, empowering them to establish their own businesses.
Jaunpur has emerged as the leader in Uttar Pradesh, with loans provided to 2,003 young entrepreneurs, followed by Azamgarh and Kaushambi in second and third places, respectively.
This initiative has clearly become the top choice for the youth in the state, as it helps them realize their dreams and take significant steps towards their personal and professional growth.
With substantial backing from the state government, these young individuals are not only launching their own enterprises but also contributing to positive social transformations.
Official statistics reveal that 255,174 youth applied for loans within just six months, with 208,097 applications forwarded to banks.
Out of these, 64,673 received bank approvals, resulting in 63,009 youths successfully obtaining loans for self-employment.
Jaunpur’s District Magistrate, Dinesh Chandra Singh, stated that the scheme is focused on providing self-employment opportunities for the youth in the state.
He mentioned that a special campaign is underway to connect young applicants with banks, facilitating loan disbursement.
Under this campaign, loans have been granted to 2,250 youths. Azamgarh has ranked second, forwarding 4,285 applications to banks, with 1,859 loans already disbursed.
Kaushambi has secured third place in implementing the scheme, with 1,299 applications approved and 1,185 loans granted.
Additionally, Ambedkarnagar ranks fourth, and Jhansi fifth, while Siddharthnagar, Hardoi, and Raebareli have also performed commendably in executing the initiative.
