Amaravati, Oct 14 (NationPress) The Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust has extended an invitation to Vice President C. P. Radhakrishnan to join in the celebrations honoring the 100th birth anniversary of Sri Sathya Sai Baba.

On Tuesday, R. J. Rathnakar, the Managing Trustee of the Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust, met with the Vice President in New Delhi and formally conveyed the invitation.

During their discussion, Rathnakar informed the Vice President about the various humanitarian and spiritual initiatives undertaken by the Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust.

As per the Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust, Radhakrishnan responded positively, revealing that his aunt has been a devotee of Sathya Sai Baba since 1966. He acknowledged the significant good work being done and expressed his deep appreciation for the Trust's commitment to advancing Sai Baba's teachings and legacy with vigor.

Rathnakar was joined by Adi Moolam, a devoted follower of Sri Sathya Sai Baba and Managing Director of Dinamalar.

The centenary celebrations are set to take place on November 22–23.

Extensive preparations are underway for the festivities in Puttaparthi, located in the Sri Sathya Sai District of Andhra Pradesh.

Superintendent of Police S. Satish Kumar has initiated a Rs 1.39 crore digital surveillance project, featuring 216 CCTV cameras and night-vision drones to monitor Puttaparthi and its vicinity.

The SP noted that to manage the influx of devotees, police will utilize 10 automatic number plate recognition cameras along with 169 static units. An additional 47 mobile cameras have already been set up.

Two specialized night-vision drone cameras, funded by the Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust at a cost of Rs 5 lakh, will provide aerial surveillance, marking Puttaparthi as the first town in Andhra Pradesh to implement such technology.
