Patna, Nov 11 (NationPress) As voter participation in the concluding phase of the Bihar Assembly Elections 2025 climbs to an impressive 60.40 percent by 3 PM, all significant political factions are on high alert, vigilantly observing developments from their dedicated election war rooms.
On Tuesday, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar made a visit to the Janata Dal (United) headquarters in Patna to assess the situation, instructing party officials to monitor every ground-level occurrence closely.
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has established a comprehensive surveillance network, collecting real-time insights from its booth-level representatives across the state.
“We have deployed over 92,000 booth-level agents in Bihar who have been engaged during both phases of polling. The BJP holds the record for the most booth-level representatives, with nearly one agent assigned to each polling booth,” stated Radhika Raman, convener of the Bihar BJP Election Cell, in an interview with IANS.
“Our agents are assisting not only the BJP but also our alliance partners -- JD(U), LJP(RV), HAM, and RLM -- on the ground. Their responsibilities include tracking voter turnout patterns and providing timely updates to the state election cell,” Raman elaborated.
The Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) has similarly set up a centralized election war room at its headquarters in Patna.
According to party officials, RJD’s 47,000 booth-level agents are in constant communication with local representatives, vigilantly observing developments at polling stations throughout the day.
The RJD has reported the highest number of complaints to the Election Commission of India (ECI).
The party has drawn attention to incidents in Sarairanjan, Samastipur, and Siwan, where VVPAT slips were discovered abandoned on the roads. These booth-level agents have been instrumental in identifying irregularities and relaying them to headquarters with evidence.
Both political alliances -- the NDA and the Grand Alliance -- are maintaining seamless coordination and real-time communication networks to evaluate polling trends as voting progresses across 20 districts of Bihar.
