New Delhi, Nov 20 (NationPress) On Thursday, Vice President C.P. Radhakrishnan extended his heartfelt congratulations to Nitish Kumar as he took the oath of office as the Chief Minister of Bihar, along with the other ministers being sworn in. Radhakrishnan expressed his hopes for their success in achieving the state's aspirations.

For the remarkable 10th time, Nitish Kumar was inaugurated as Bihar's Chief Minister, with Governor Arif Mohammad Khan administering the oath at the historic Gandhi Maidan in Patna.

Samrat Choudhary, a victorious MLA from Tarapur, was sworn in immediately after Kumar and has taken on the role of one of Bihar's Deputy Chief Ministers. Following him, Vijay Sinha also assumed office as a Deputy Chief Minister.

Alongside Nitish Kumar, several ministers including Vijay Kumar Choudhary, Mangal Pandey, Dilip Jaiswal, Shravan Kumar, and Bijendra Yadav were also administered their oaths.

In a message on X, Prime Minister Modi congratulated Nitish Kumar and the newly sworn-in ministers, wishing them success in their duties.

Modi remarked, "May their collective leadership lead to a new era of sustainable growth, effective governance, inclusive development, and prosperity for Bihar. I wish them all success in meeting the expectations of the state's populace."

This marks the first time Prime Minister Modi has attended a swearing-in ceremony for Nitish Kumar, although Kumar has been sworn in five times since Modi took office in 2014. Over these years, Kumar has served under both the NDA and the Grand Alliance. Today signifies a historic moment as Modi was present in Patna for his oath-taking.
