While addressing attendees at the inaugural convocation of coaches and trainers from the Gujarat State Yog Board, coinciding with World Meditation Day, he commended the Yoga instructors. He noted that Yoga fortifies physical health while meditation sharpens mental clarity, with the discipline for Yoga stemming from the enhanced decision-making capabilities acquired through meditation.
Highlighting meditation as a precious gift from India's ancient culture, CM Patel emphasized its significance for achieving mental tranquility in the current fast-paced and demanding environment.
He expressed pride in India's role as a spiritual beacon for the globe, particularly highlighting that, thanks to the international recognition of Yoga by Prime Minister Modi, June 21 is now observed as the International Day of Yoga.
He further mentioned that the Prime Minister has characterized Yoga as a straightforward and traditional approach to health preservation, advocating for regular practice of Yoga, pranayama, and meditation to maintain overall wellness and fend off ailments.
