Mumbai, Sep 4 (NationPress) To provide a safe and joyful experience for devotees, Adani Electricity, the power provider for Mumbai's Western and Eastern Suburbs, has successfully installed over 2,571 floodlights at 167 locations for the immersion of Lord Ganesh idols across 15 Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) wards.
Furthermore, the company has also set up 80 floodlights around the Mount Mary Church in Bandra in preparation for the upcoming Mount Mary Fair that runs from September 5 to September 14.
"Our primary goal is to guarantee a reliable and uninterrupted power supply for our customers and all devotees during this festive season," stated an Adani Electricity spokesperson.
"Our power warriors are equipped with all necessary tools and are strategically deployed throughout the city to handle any emergencies during the Ganesh immersion days and the Mount Mary Fair," the spokesperson continued.
To ensure a smooth experience for organizers, Adani Electricity has simplified the process for obtaining temporary electricity connections. This will allow pandals to receive their connections within 48 hours of submitting their requests.
This year, nearly 1,000 Ganesh pandals opted for Adani Electricity to power their safe and joyous celebrations.
In August, Adani Electricity introduced temporary electricity connections for Ganesh pandals at a residential rate.
This initiative ensured that pandals across the city had access to reliable power throughout the festivities.
“Last year, we successfully delivered uninterrupted power to over 986 Ganesh pandals citywide. We have made extensive preparations to fast-track connection approvals and ensure a reliable power supply throughout the festival. Our dedicated Quick Response Team is strategically placed to swiftly address any concerns,” the company spokesperson explained.
Earlier, Adani Electricity collaborated with the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) Disaster Management Department to conduct vital electrical safety training for Ganesh Mandal volunteers across Mumbai.
This collaborative effort aimed to significantly enhance emergency preparedness and mitigate potential electrical hazards during the upcoming festivities.
