New Delhi, Nov 19 (NationPress) Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal announced on Wednesday that he engaged in a fruitful discussion with entrepreneurs, focusing on the collective vision for 'Viksit Bharat at 2047'.
In a post on X, Goyal mentioned, “We exchanged innovative ideas on how each participant can play a role in fostering growth, innovation, and our mutual goal of a Viksit Bharat 2047.”
Earlier, he had an enlightening conversation with investors and industry leaders at Bharat Mandapam regarding enhancing the Ease of Doing Business and encouraging investments.
“We deliberated on maintaining policy consistency, ensuring enhanced regulatory transparency, and expediting digital approvals to improve the investment ecosystem. I reaffirmed India's dedication to creating a transparent, predictable, and innovation-centric environment that bolsters long-term capital and solidifies our status as a prime global investment hub,” the minister emphasized.
On Tuesday, Goyal introduced the Trade Intelligence and Analytics (TIA) Portal to provide new insights for exporters, importers, startups, and MSMEs, granting them access to additional trade data. Small enterprises, even in the most remote areas, will now benefit from data that was formerly exclusive to larger companies.
He pointed out that there are immense opportunities in the global services sector now accessible to all. He also mentioned that the portal would enable exporters to better leverage the country’s Free Trade Agreements. Goyal noted that the Ministry of Commerce has invested considerable effort in developing this platform, which has the potential to promote trade diversification, broaden India's trade spectrum to new areas and products, and help seize previously overlooked opportunities.
The Trade Data Analytics Portal is an economical, open-source solution that emphasizes accessibility, scalability, and user-friendly design. With no software licensing fees and minimal server infrastructure costs, it presents a sustainable model for long-term use.
