New Delhi, Oct 8 (NationPress) Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced on Wednesday that the ‘Made-in-India 4G stack is now prepared for export, underscoring the nation’s increasing influence in global technology sectors.

During the opening session of the India Mobile Congress (IMC) 2025, PM Modi remarked that this milestone is indicative of the strength of the ‘Aatmanirbhar Bharat vision’ and the advancements India has made in the telecom industry over the last ten years.

The Prime Minister pointed out that 5G connectivity has now expanded to nearly every district in the country, a significant leap from the era when India faced challenges with 2G networks.

“The nation has progressed significantly. Presently, we boast 5G coverage across all regions,” PM Modi stated, highlighting the essential role of contemporary infrastructure in fostering India’s digital evolution.

He noted that the setup of one lakh towers has garnered international attention, showcasing India’s expertise in establishing extensive telecom infrastructure.

“The new 4G stack is anticipated to deliver quicker internet speeds, enhanced reliability, and uninterrupted connectivity, further solidifying India’s technological advantage,” PM Modi stated.

He also emphasized India’s extraordinary progress in electronics and mobile manufacturing, reporting that production has increased sixfold since 2014, mobile manufacturing has surged 28 times, and exports have skyrocketed 127 times.

The Prime Minister acknowledged the contribution of startups and innovation in achieving this success.

“Initiatives such as the ‘Digital Innovation Square’ and the ‘Telecom Technology Development Fund’ are providing essential funding and support to cultivate new ideas,” he mentioned.

“The India Mobile Congress has evolved into the largest digital technology forum in Asia, highlighting the nation’s talent and innovation on a global platform,” PM Modi proclaimed.
