Bengaluru, March 10 (NationPress) India’s media landscape is witnessing tremendous expansion, fueled by a surge in digital usage, shifting audience preferences, and advancements in data-driven insights, according to global audience-measurement firm Nielsen, which on Monday, unveiled its new offices to foster innovation in the domestic market.
Nielsen has launched its new offices in Mumbai and Bengaluru to broaden its operations, stimulate growth, and enhance its technological innovation capabilities in India.
Situated in Goregaon, Mumbai, and Whitefield, Bengaluru, this initiative is part of the company's comprehensive strategy to fortify its presence in the region, boost business growth, and refine operations.
“The choice to set up new offices in India arises from the country's vast business prospects and access to a highly skilled workforce,” stated Karthik Rao, CEO of Nielsen.
“This expansion is in line with Nielsen’s dedication to reinforcing its R&D, sales, and operations capabilities, allowing us to better meet the needs of our clients and drive innovation in this fast-changing market,” he added.
The Mumbai office occupies 1,50,000 square feet, while the Bengaluru office spans 1,36,000 square feet, creating spaces that promote dynamic and flexible working environments.
Each office is designed to accommodate 1,500 employees, fostering teamwork and collaboration, enabling staff to share ideas, experiment, and innovate.
Rao emphasized that India is a vital market for Nielsen, playing an essential role in their global growth and innovation strategy.
“As we further our presence, we are not only investing in new offices but also enhancing our collaborations throughout the industry. By building robust partnerships, we aim to drive innovation, improve data-driven insights, and provide greater value to businesses navigating an increasingly dynamic media landscape,” he remarked.
Nielsen plans to establish more offices across India, including in regions such as Gurgaon and Hyderabad.
In its commitment to India’s technology and analytics ecosystem, Nielsen recently signed a MoU with the Maharashtra government at the World Economic Forum 2025. This agreement signifies an investment of Rs 450 crore into the state’s IT and ITeS sector, resulting in the creation of 1,100 new jobs, especially in technical roles.
