TCS Reports 12% Increase in Q4 Net Profit and Declares Rs 31 Dividend

Mumbai, April 9 (NationPress) Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) announced on Thursday a 12% year-on-year (YoY) increase in its consolidated net profit for the January–March quarter (Q4 FY26).
The prominent IT firm reported a profit of Rs 13,718 crore, up from Rs 12,224 crore during the same quarter last year (Q4 FY25), as per its filings with the exchange.
TCS also experienced a promising growth in consolidated revenue from operations, which surged 9.6% year-on-year to reach Rs 70,698 crore, compared to Rs 64,479 crore in Q4 FY25.
When analyzed sequentially, the company exhibited an even more significant improvement, with profits rising 28.7% quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) and revenue climbing by 5.4%.
In light of these results, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director K Krithivasan remarked that the firm has achieved its third consecutive quarter of sequential growth.
Krithivasan further pointed out that growth momentum is broad-based across critical markets and various industry sectors.
Despite persistent macroeconomic challenges, he observed that clients continue to express strong confidence in technology investments, positioning the company favorably for future opportunities.
“While macroeconomic challenges persist, we see sustained customer confidence in technology investments, which positions us well for future opportunities,” Krithivasan stated.
TCS announced a final dividend of Rs 31 per share for FY26, pending approval from shareholders at the upcoming Annual General Meeting.
The total payout to shareholders for the financial year amounted to Rs 39,571 crore in dividends.
The total expenses for the fourth quarter were recorded at Rs 53,093 crore, compared to Rs 49,105 crore in the previous year. However, sequentially, the expenses were Rs 50,736 crore.
Aarthi Subramanian, Executive Director - President and Chief Operating Officer, stated, “FY26 represented a pivotal year for enterprise AI adoption.
In Q4, our annualized AI revenues exceeded $2.3 billion, fueled by the rapid deployment of AI solutions,” Subramanian added.
