New Delhi, Nov 26 (NationPress) On Wednesday, Tesla revealed plans to inaugurate its inaugural all-in-one Tesla Centre in Gurugram, representing a significant milestone in the company’s growth within India.
The facility, situated at Orchid Business Park in Sector 48, is set to open on November 27 and will consolidate retail, after-sales service, vehicle delivery, and charging stations for the first time in the nation.
Sharad Agarwal, General Manager of Tesla India, mentioned that the centre is crafted to cater to the rapidly expanding community of Tesla users in northern India.
He emphasized the goal of making electric mobility both convenient and accessible by establishing infrastructure aligned with customers’ daily lives—places where they work, dine, and commute.
“Tesla’s mission is to hasten the global shift towards sustainable energy. By developing charging solutions that integrate into daily routines, we’re simplifying electric driving for everyone in India,” he stated.
“Our direct approach to business has generated tremendous enthusiasm for electric mobility, fostering robust adoption and enduring faith in sustainable transportation throughout India,” Agarwal noted.
With this Gurugram launch, Tesla aims to deliver a smooth and dependable ownership journey from the moment customers enter to explore a vehicle until they charge and maintain it.
At the new centre, guests can discover Tesla’s cutting-edge technologies, experience test drives of the Model Y, and utilize the advanced V4 Superchargers available on-site.
Tesla’s humanoid robot, Optimus Gen 2, will also be prominently displayed, showcasing the company’s commitment to AI and robotics.
This Gurugram centre is an essential component of Tesla’s wider expansion strategy in India. Since its entry into the market in July, the company has launched experience centres in Mumbai and Delhi, in addition to establishing three charging sites in these locations.
With the imminent inauguration of the One Horizon charging station in Gurugram, Tesla will manage four charging locations across India, equipped with 16 Superchargers and 10 Destination Chargers.
The corporation asserts that its supercharging network boasts a 99.95 percent uptime, enabling Model Y owners to recharge up to 275 km of range within just 15 minutes.
