Chennai, Sep 30 (NationPress) After a strong comeback, the Gujarat Giants celebrated their second win in PKL 12 by defeating the UP Yoddhas in a tightly contested match during the first game of the Chennai leg. Skipper Mohammadreza Shadloui showcased his prowess by scoring eight points, comprising four touch points and four tackle points.

In his reflections following the victory, the all-rounder stated, "We adapted our strategy effectively and executed well today. Rakesh focused on raiding while I concentrated on bolstering our defense. If we maintain this level of play, our chances of winning increase significantly."

Head coach Jaivir Sharma echoed these thoughts, noting, "Many of our losses this season have been by narrow margins. We scrutinized those games and improved on our weaknesses. Our dedication paid off today."
