Kolkata, Feb 17 (NationPress) Following their 3-1 victory over Mohammedan Sporting Club in the away-leg derby at Vivekananda Yuba Bharati Krirangan, East Bengal FC's captains, Naorem Mahesh Singh and Saul Crespo, expressed their gratitude to the fans for their enthusiastic support during the team's unpredictable journey in the ongoing Indian Super League (ISL) 2024-25.
Spanish midfielder Saul Crespo, who made his comeback in the previous home match against Chennaiyin FC after a two-month injury hiatus, extended the Red & Golds' advantage in the 65th minute, just four minutes after coming off the bench.
