New Delhi, Aug 5 (NationPress) The Indian Deaf Cricket Association (IDCA) proudly wrapped up the 6th T20 Deaf Indian Premier League 2025 at GMSSS, Chandigarh, where Deaf Lucknow Giants emerged victorious, securing the championship trophy after an exhilarating four-day tournament from August 1 to 4.
The event, organized by the Indian Deaf Cricket Association with support from the UT Cricket Association (UTCA), showcased eight vibrant teams from across the nation: Deaf Mumbai Stars, Deaf Delhi Bulls, Deaf Hyderabad Eagles, Deaf Kolkata Warriors, Deaf Chennai Blasters, Deaf Bangalore Badshahs, Deaf Punjab Lions, and the champions, Deaf Lucknow Giants.
Sumit Jain, president of IDCA, expressed great pride in the tournament's success, stating, “This league transcends mere competition—it's a tribute to courage, excellence, and inclusivity. We are honored to provide a national platform that highlights the talent and resilience of deaf athletes.”
The closing ceremony and award distribution were attended by chief guest Sanjay Tandon, President of UT Cricket Association, along with other esteemed guests.
