Incheon, May 13 (NationPress) Diksha Dagar maintains her position within the Top-10 of the Ladies European Tour’s Order of Merit following the conclusion of the Aramco Korea Championships.
The 24-year-old, now in her sixth year as a professional, has clinched victory twice on the Ladies European Tour, in addition to multiple wins on her native Women’s Pro Golf Tour.
Besides a single occurrence in 2020, Diksha has consistently ranked in the Top-60 of the LET, with her top two finishes being 14th in 2019—when she secured her inaugural LET title—and third in 2023, the year she celebrated her second LET triumph.
Following a modest performance in 2024, where she ranked 29th on the LET list, Diksha kicked off this season brilliantly with a runner-up finish, narrowly losing in a playoff at the season opener in Morocco. Out of the eight events this season, one was canceled in Australia due to adverse weather, but Diksha has participated in all the others.
In addition to her second-place finish at the Lalla Meryem Cup in Morocco, Diksha also achieved T-11th at the NSW Open in Australia, T-8 at the Joburg Open, and T-9 at the Women’s South African Open.
Pranavi Urs has also maintained her performance levels. After being the top Indian in her rookie season in 2024 at T-17 with five Top-10 finishes, she currently ranks 38th this year, closely followed by rookie Avani Prashanth, who has also impressed in her first full season outside India.
Other Indian players on the LET include Aditi Ashok, who primarily competes on the LPGA but occasionally participates in LET events, and Tvesa Malik. Hitaashee Bakshi, Sneha Singh, and Amandeep Drall are on conditional status with limited opportunities available on the Tour.
The forthcoming event for Indian female professionals will be the Dutch Ladies Open, where seven Indians will participate as the Tour transitions to Europe.
