Mumbai, Jan 23 (NationPress) Diva Shah of Maharashtra showcased her impressive skills in the final match, defeating fellow state player Eesha Shrivastava with scores of 11-5, 11-9, and 11-2 to claim victory in the Girls' U-17 finals at the prestigious Four-Star Willingdon Sports Club Squash Classic Open 2025 held at the WSC Squash courts on Thursday.

Both athletes were seeded 3/4 and had a good understanding of each other’s playing styles. However, it was Diva who demonstrated superior performance on the day. The Girls' U-19 title was also secured by Anika Dubeya from Maharashtra, who triumphed over Karina Phipps with scores of 13-11, 13-15, 11-2, and 11-6.

The men's singles semifinals featured top seed Suraj Chand from Jindal Squash Academy, Vashind, who faced a tough match against Om Semwal (seeded 3/4) before winning 11-9, 6-11, 9-11, 11-4, and 11-3. This victory set up a title match against Saurav Ghoshal from Tamil Nadu, who defeated Abhishek Pradhan decisively with scores of 11-4, 11-2, and 11-6.
