Having previously stood on the podium multiple times at the US Kids World Championship, Mahreen recorded a second round score of 5-under 66, which featured an eagle and four birdies alongside one bogey on the back nine.

With her initial round of 68, Mahreen now holds an impressive total of 8-under 134 over 36 holes, leading a competitive field that includes the five-time 2025 champion Vani Kapoor (69-67), who finished with back-to-back birdies to secure second place at 6-under 136.
