Harry Kane sidelined for the ‘foreseeable future’ due to a minor muscle strain

Munich, Dec 1 (NationPress) Bayern Munich forward Harry Kane had to exit during his team's derby match against Borussia Dortmund on Saturday. The club has now disclosed that he will be unavailable for ‘the foreseeable future’ due to a minor muscle strain.
"Harry Kane suffered a minor muscle strain in his right hamstring during FC Bayern's Bundesliga game at Borussia Dortmund yesterday. This was confirmed by a scan conducted by the FC Bayern medical team. Thus, Bayern will be without Kane, 31, for the foreseeable future," stated Bayern Munich.
The Bavarians faced a 1-1 draw against Borussia Dortmund in Der Klassiker on Saturday. Jamie Gittens opened the scoring for Dortmund in the first half, and despite Bayern's dominance, they had to wait until the final moments for Jamal Musiala to equalize.
Bayern initially controlled the game, but with Dortmund's defense being resolute, clear-cut chances were scarce. Bayern sought solutions, but their attempts were mostly uninspired. Borussia goalkeeper Gregor Kobel denied a header from Muller, while Neuer managed to win a ball against Marcel Sabitzer as Bayern headed into halftime trailing.
Munich equalized with just five minutes remaining. A Sane free-kick struck the wall, but Olise's cross found the unmarked Musiala, who headed it in.
This outcome leaves Bayern with 30 points from 12 matches, sitting seven points ahead of Frankfurt, who will face Heidenheim on Sunday. The Bavarians are scheduled to return to action on Tuesday, facing Bayer Leverkusen in the DFB Cup round of 16.
“Harry says it’s not that bad. He now needs to have a scan, and then we’ll know more. It’ll be tight for Tuesday. I don’t know many players who recover that quickly,” commented head coach Vincent Kompany after the match.
