Nagpur, Feb 28 (NationPress) Vidarbha’s left-arm spinner Harsh Dubey has made history in the Ranji Trophy by securing the title for the most wickets taken in a single season. He achieved this remarkable feat by claiming 3-88 on the third day of the final match against Kerala at the Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium on Friday.
During Kerala's first innings, after Vidarbha batted first and scored 379, Dubey reached this milestone with his third wicket, dismissing M.D. Nidheesh shortly after Tea on Day Three. Earlier, the talented spinner had already sent Kerala's leading run-scorer, Aditya Sarwate, back to the pavilion for 79 runs and trapped Salman Nizar—who has been Kerala’s top scorer this season—LBW just before the lunch break.
