New Delhi, June 25 (NationPress) Following a sensational Season 2 that broke viewership records, the Indian Street Premier League (ISPL)—India’s tennis-ball T10 cricket league—has revealed that Bollywood icon Salman Khan will be the new owner of its New Delhi franchise.
Season 2 captivated over 28 million television viewers, showcasing a remarkable 47 percent surge in TV ratings compared to its first season, solidifying ISPL’s reputation as the largest sports and music extravaganza in India.
Salman joins a prestigious lineup of celebrity team owners in ISPL, which boasts luminaries such as Amitabh Bachchan (Majhi Mumbai), Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan (Tiigers of Kolkata), Akshay Kumar (Srinagar Ke Veer), Suriya (Chennai Singams), Hrithik Roshan (Bangalore Strikers), and Ram Charan (Falcon Risers Hyderabad).
The league is supported by an influential core committee that includes Bharat Ratna Sachin Tendulkar, Ashish Shelar (Asian Cricket Council member & Cabinet Minister), Minal Amol Kale, and Suraj Samat.
