Having qualified for the finals with a score of 632.5, he recorded 145.0 in the final round, securing the seventh position.
The gold medal was won by Germany’s Maximilian Dallinger, with defending World Champion Victor Lindgren from Sweden taking home the silver. The bronze medal was claimed by Olympic champion Sheng Lihao of China.
Arjun started with a score of 51.9 (10.6, 9.8, 10.6, 10.5, 10.4) in his first series and improved to 52.3 (10.6, 10.1, 10.7, 10.2, 10.7) in the second round. However, a disappointing shot of 9.7 in the 11th round caused him to drop in the rankings, ultimately becoming the second shooter to be eliminated.
In the men’s 25m Rapid Fire Pistol category, Anish Bhanwala scored an impressive 291–11x, placing seventh after Stage 1 of the qualification. Sameer Gulia and Adarsh Singh finished with scores of 286–3x and 285–8x, respectively.
