This thrilling tournament is scheduled to run until August 23 and will adopt a new division-based structure, a format previously utilized in the Senior and Sub Junior Men’s and Women’s as well as the Junior Women's National Championships earlier this year.
The competition will feature 30 teams divided into Division ‘A’, Division ‘B’, and Division ‘C’, with a promotion and relegation system that adds an exciting layer to the matches. The teams in Division ‘A’ will compete fiercely for the championship title, while the top two teams from Divisions ‘B’ and ‘C’ will ascend to the higher tier. Conversely, the bottom two teams in Divisions ‘A’ and ‘B’ will face relegation to the next division for 2026.
Division ‘A’ includes the nation’s 12 elite junior men’s teams, featuring defending champions Hockey Punjab, runners-up Hockey Uttar Pradesh, and third-place finishers Hockey Haryana.
