New Delhi, March 10 (NationPress) Following India's triumph in securing their third Champions Trophy title, former wicketkeeper-batter Dinesh Karthik expressed that skipper Rohit Sharma ranks among the finest captains in India's cricket history.
At the Dubai International Stadium on Sunday, Rohit delivered a remarkable performance, scoring 76 runs off 83 balls, and effectively led the team on the field as India achieved a four-wicket victory against New Zealand, clinching the 2025 Champions Trophy.
“When discussing captains, he is right up there with some of the greatest who have ever represented India. We talk about Kapil Dev and MS Dhoni - both World Cup champions. Rohit Sharma is also a World Cup champion, and the manner in which he has steered the team is commendable,” Karthik stated in an ICC video shared on Instagram.
