India successfully bowled out the West Indies for 248 runs in 81.5 overs on Day 3 of the second and concluding Test at the Arun Jaitley Stadium on Sunday.

With a substantial first-innings lead of 270 runs on a pitch that provided minimal turn and bounce, India opted to enforce the follow-on, presenting the West Indies with 49 overs to endure on the day, amplifying the challenge to extend the match into the fourth day.

Kuldeep, exhibiting exceptional control with his skill, variations, and drift, shifted the momentum for India during the morning session with a critical spell, swiftly dismissing Shai Hope, Tevin Imlach, and Justin Graves. A late resistance from the ninth-wicket partnership of Khary Pierre and Anderson Phillip, which yielded 46 runs, was short-lived, as Jasprit Bumrah quickly claimed Pierre right after lunch.

The final wicket collaboration of 27 runs tested India's resolve, with Phillip defending bravely and Jayden Seales countering against Kuldeep. The day commenced with overnight batters Shai Hope and Tevin Imlach appearing comfortable against Kuldeep and Bumrah for the first 30 minutes before Kuldeep's sensational bowling began. Operating from the North End, Kuldeep delivered a drifted ball that outsmarted Hope’s forward defense, dislodging the off-stump.

In his subsequent over, Kuldeep concluded Imlach’s resistance by delivering a sharply turning ball that trapped the wicketkeeper-batter lbw. Although Justin Greaves managed some boundaries, he too fell after attempting a reverse sweep off Kuldeep, who expertly executed a leg-break to claim him lbw.

Siraj became the first pace bowler to take a wicket in the match when Jomel Warrican attempted a full delivery outside off-stump but ended up chopping it onto his stumps. With the West Indies at 175/8, a quick conclusion to their innings seemed imminent, until Pierre and Phillip exhibited solid resistance.
