Diva Shah, seeded (3/4), faced off against the top seed from Delhi, Sanvi Batar. After losing the first game, Diva staged a strong comeback, winning 8-11, 13-11, 11-6, 11-7.
Encouraged by this victory, her fellow Maharashtra player Eesha Shrivastava (3/4) took on the second seed from Tamil Nadu, Vyomika Khandelwal. Eesha began with a strong lead, but lost focus in the next two games, leading to a tense finale.
