Dubai, Sep 23 (NationPress) South Africa's batter Tazmin Brits has made a remarkable advancement in the latest ICC women’s ODI player rankings, unveiled on Tuesday, just days before the Women’s World Cup kicks off in India.
During a three-match ODI series against Pakistan, South Africa faced off alongside India, who hosted Australia in a highly competitive series as teams gear up for the World Cup. Both South Africa and Australia concluded their series with an identical score of 2-1, with key players, particularly batters, amassing significant points through their stellar performances.
In her match against Pakistan, Brits achieved her career-best score of an unbeaten 171 runs off 141 balls, featuring 20 fours and four sixes. Meanwhile, Mandhana also secured consecutive centuries in the second and third ODIs against Australia.
