Jaipur, April 19 (NationPress) Aiden Markram and Ayush Badoni's impressive half-centuries, combined with Abdul Samad's explosive finish, propelled the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) to a formidable total of 180/5 in 20 overs against the Rajasthan Royals at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium on Saturday.
On a sluggish pitch, LSG faced early setbacks, losing three wickets quickly. However, Markram and Badoni steadied the ship, scoring 66 and 50 respectively, while forming a partnership of 76 runs off just 49 balls for the fourth wicket. Unfortunately, both players were dismissed before the conclusion of the final two overs.
In the closing moments, Samad took advantage of an erratic Sandeep Sharma, launching four sixes in the last over, which cost 27 runs. He finished with a remarkable 30 runs off just 10 balls, providing LSG with crucial momentum as they approached the midway point of the match.
