New Delhi, June 8 (NationPress) Samajwadi Party MP Priya Saroj shared a touching update on social media following her engagement to Indian cricketer Rinku Singh, reminiscing about the challenging journey they faced to reach this milestone.
The engagement event occurred on Sunday in Lucknow, with their wedding date set for November 18 at the Taj Hotel in Varanasi.
“This day has been in our hearts for so long—almost three years—and the wait was worth every second. Engaged—with full hearts and a forever to go,” Priya Saroj expressed on her ‘X’ account.
Among those present were Rinku and Priya's families, along with notable figures such as Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav, Dimple Yadav, Jaya Bachchan, Ram Gopal Yadav, and Shivpal Yadav, who attended the ceremony.
BCCI vice-president Rajeev Shukla also came to convey his best wishes to the couple. Unfortunately, many of Rinku's teammates were unable to attend due to the Indian Test squad's departure for England ahead of the Test series set to commence on June 20.
