Key Takeaways
New Delhi, March 17 (NationPress) - The Mumbai Indians (MI) have unveiled their ticket sales timeline for their home games during the initial phase of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026, which is scheduled from March 28 to April 12.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) disclosed the timetable for this phase, where MI will host four matches. Their season kicks off with a home encounter against the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) on March 29 at the renowned Wankhede Stadium, before they travel for two away matches against the Delhi Capitals (DC) and Rajasthan Royals (RR).
The five-time IPL champions will then return home for a highly anticipated rivalry match against the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB).
Tickets will be exclusively available as M-Tickets through the BookMyShow platform, released in four distinct phases with tiered access. In the first phase, users of Google Pay (GPAY UPI) can purchase tickets from March 19 at 12:00 IST until March 21 at 12:00 IST. The second phase will allow MI Gold, Silver, and Junior Members early access from March 21 at 15:00 IST to March 22 at 15:00 IST.
In the third phase, MI Blue Members and pre-registered users of BookMyShow can book tickets from March 22 at 17:00 IST to March 23 at 17:00 IST, while the fourth and final phase opens sales to the general public starting March 23 at 18:00 IST.
The franchise emphasized that members must have acquired their memberships by 11:59 PM IST on March 19, 2026, to be eligible for early access.
This phased approach ensures that dedicated fans and MI members receive priority before the tickets are offered to the general public.
The team has officially commenced their training camp, with experienced player Rohit Sharma joining the squad in preparation for the 19th edition of this lucrative tournament.
