Despite an undefeated streak leading to the finals, NECO Master Blaster excelled on the field both with bat and ball. This victory avenged their earlier defeat to the same team in the league. Shanmesh Deshmukh earned the Player of the Match title for his rapid 82 runs off 45 balls, despite ending up on the losing side.
Chasing a target of 179 runs, Vedant Dighade and Adhyan Daga opened the batting for NECO Master Blaster. They added 35 runs for the first wicket before Daga was out for 22 off 16 balls.
