According to sources familiar with the situation, Lee is expected to join the team following the conclusion of the 2026 season of the Women’s Premier League (WPL), which wraps up on February 5 in Vadodara.

“Indeed, it’s confirmed that Lee will take on the responsibilities as the S&C coach for the Indian women's cricket team. Attention will then turn to the ODI series, where India enters as the reigning World Cup winners. The series will commence at Allan Border Field in Brisbane on February 24, with the second and third ODIs taking place at Bellerive Oval in Hobart on February 27 and March 1.

The third ODI was relocated to Hobart from Melbourne due to floodlight issues, as confirmed by Cricket Australia (CA). The tour will conclude with a day-night Test at the WACA Ground in Perth, scheduled from March 6 to 9.
