At just 23 years old, Prendergast triumphed over tough competition from Netherlands all-rounder Iris Zwilling and Pakistan wicket-keeper Muneeba Ali to secure this prestigious accolade.
Having showcased her skills during the T20I series against Pakistan in August, Prendergast expressed her joy at receiving the award.
