Akash Deep also showed promise, providing good bounce and carry as he builds up to the upcoming Tests against South Africa.
Akash Deep made an early impact by dismissing Lesego Senokwane and later took down the returning Temba Bavuma for zero, caught down leg by India A's skipper, Rishabh Pant.
Ackerman’s resilience was the standout of South Africa A’s innings; after surviving early challenges, he accelerated to score 134 off 118 deliveries, featuring 17 fours and five sixes.
His 86-run partnership with Prenelan Subrayen enabled South Africa A to surpass the 200 mark before he was dismissed by left-arm spinner Harsh Dubey. Prasidh concluded the innings by taking out Cele, ensuring a dominant day for India A.
