Karachi, March 1 (NationPress) The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has revealed that it will provide a complete ticket refund for the two matches of the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy that were canceled without any play at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.

The inclement weather in Rawalpindi led to the cancellation of the Australia-South Africa Group B match on February 25, as well as the Bangladesh-Pakistan Group A encounter on February 27, both without a ball being bowled.

While Australia and South Africa progressed to the semi-finals despite the cancellations, Bangladesh and Pakistan, the hosts and reigning champions, were already eliminated from the eight-team tournament, rendering their rained-off match irrelevant from the beginning.

In a statement issued on Saturday, the PCB specified that, according to its ticket refund policy, ticket holders are entitled to a complete refund if the match was canceled prior to the toss. “All enclosure tickets will be refunded. However, holders of hospitality tickets (boxes and PCB gallery) will not qualify for a refund,” it noted.

The PCB further informed that eligible ticket holders can claim their refunds at designated TCS outlets in Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Hyderabad, Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore, Multan, Rawalpindi, Peshawar, and Quetta from March 10-14, with late requests not being processed.

Fans are also requested to present an original/undamaged ticket as proof of purchase and to visit the TCS outlet in person to claim their refund, as claims cannot be made by anyone else on their behalf.

South Africa and Australia will learn their semi-final opponents on Sunday night, following the final Group A match between India and New Zealand at the Dubai International Stadium. India is set to play their semi-final in Dubai on March 4, while the second semi-final is scheduled for Lahore on March 5.
