Chennai, Oct 3 (NationPress) Ashu Malik showcased his talent with a remarkable Super 10, propelling Dabang Delhi K.C. back to the pinnacle of the league with an impressive 43-26 victory over UP Yoddhas at the SDAT Multi Purpose Indoor Stadium in Chennai on Friday. Meanwhile, Fazel Atrachali contributed significantly with four tackle points, demonstrating leadership for his team.

Gagan Gowda initiated the match with a multi-point raid, giving his team an early advantage of two points, before Ashu Malik quickly equalized. The two teams exchanged raids, with Neeraj Narwal keeping the competition fierce. As both sides battled intensely, Surjeet Singh made the first tackle of the game against Bhavani Rajput, but UP Yoddhas managed to take an 8-6 lead thanks to Shivam Chaudhary and Gagan Gowda after the initial ten minutes.

Fazel Atrachali kicked off the second quarter with a solid tackle on Bhavani Rajput, and Ashu Malik executed the first Super Raid of the match, pushing his team into the lead. He followed this with another multi-point raid, completely overpowering the Yoddhas and achieving an ALL OUT to give his team a 14-9 advantage.

As the game progressed, the tempo slowed, allowing defenders to gain control. Ashu Malik led Dabang Delhi with nine points in the first half, while Gagan Gowda kept pace for the Yoddhas with eight points. The thrilling first half saw dramatic shifts, with Joginder Narwal’s squad securing a four-point lead at 17-13.

Starting the second half strong, Ashu Malik achieved his eighth Super 10 of the season, further extending Dabang Delhi’s lead. With contributions from Ajinkya Pawar, they created a significant gap. Fazel Atrachali added to the lead, facilitating a second All Out.

Despite Gagan Gowda completing his Super 10, UP Yoddhas struggled to bridge the gap. Surjeet Singh and Ajinkya Pawar also made vital contributions, maintaining a nine-point edge with ten minutes remaining.

Dabang Delhi K.C. continued their relentless performance on both sides of the mat, leaving UP Yoddhas with no room to breathe. With a commanding 12-point lead, they tightened their grip, executing a third All Out and sealing the match with a 15-point margin with under two minutes left.

Fazel Atrachali narrowly missed achieving his high-five, finishing the night with four tackle points, as his team celebrated a stellar performance with a 16-point victory.
