PV Sindhu to Marry in Udaipur on December 22

Jaipur, Dec 3 (NationPress) PV Sindhu, a double Olympic medallist, is poised to marry Venkata Datta Sai, an Executive Director at Posidex Technologies based in Hyderabad, on December 22 in Udaipur. The wedding celebrations will kick off on December 20, followed by a reception in Hyderabad. Subsequently, Sindhu will recommence her training for a crucial upcoming season.
As stated by Sindhu's father, the two families have a longstanding connection, yet the wedding arrangements materialized within just a month. The couple selected this date as Sindhu will be occupied with training and competitions starting in the new year.
Sindhu is notable for being the first and only Indian to secure a gold medal at the BWF World Championships in 2019. She is also the second Indian individual athlete to achieve two consecutive Olympic medals: a silver medal at the 2016 Rio Olympics, marking her as the first Indian badminton player to reach an Olympic final, and a bronze medal at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
In the realm of badminton world championships, Sindhu has garnered five medals, making her one of only two women (alongside China's Zhang Ning) to attain this milestone in singles.
Her fiancé, Venkata Datta Sai, holds a Diploma in Liberal Arts and Sciences from the Foundation of Liberal and Management Education. He obtained his BBA in Accounting and Finance from Flame University in 2018 and later pursued a Master's degree in Data Science and Machine Learning from the International Institute of Information Technology, Bangalore.
Sai began his career at JSW as both a summer intern and an In-House Consultant. Since 2019, he has been serving as Managing Director for Sour Apple Asset Management while also holding the position of Executive Director at Posidex.
