Hyderabad, Jan 28 (NationPress) The second day of the 72nd Women’s Senior National Kabaddi Championship held at the Balayogi Stadium featured an extensive lineup of league matches across various pools, as teams competed fiercely for positioning in the tournament.

In Pool A, Indian Railways had an impressive day, achieving two victories with an overwhelming 88–12 win against Jammu & Kashmir, followed by a 54–21 triumph over Delhi. In Pool B, Uttar Pradesh secured a 37–27 win over Assam, and later, Himachal Pradesh claimed a 34–21 victory against Uttar Pradesh.

Moving to Pool C, the local favorites, Telangana, dominated Puducherry with a score of 50–16, while Rajasthan later overwhelmed the same team with a 76–12 victory. In Pool D, Goa triumphed over Jharkhand with a strong 74–20 score, while Haryana concluded the day's action in the pool with a 52–26 win against Goa.

In Pool E, Maharashtra secured a solid 57–20 victory against Vidarbha, while Pool F witnessed Punjab defeating Bihar with a score of 39–31. The closest match of the day was found in Pool G, where Gujarat narrowly beat Odisha 29–26, and in Pool H, Madhya Pradesh claimed a convincing 48–23 win over Andhra Pradesh.
