Krunal Pandya on the League-Stage Achievement

All-rounder Krunal Pandya reflected on what finishing top of the table means for the side after 14 league games. 'It's not just today's game, but it's actually the effort we have put in for the last two and a half months. Obviously the result didn't go our way, but this was our first goal and to achieve that after 14 games is a pretty satisfying feeling. Now we are two steps away from what we all have manifested from day one of the start of the season,' he said.

Pandya also delivered a valuable all-round performance against SRH, contributing 41 runs off 31 balls and picking up the critical wicket of Heinrich Klaasen at a pivotal moment. 'Getting Klaasen's wicket was crucial and I am happy with the way I was able to contribute. But at the end of the day, what matters is that golden trophy. That is the goal,' he added.

Captain Rajat Patidar registered his fourth half-century of the season, underscoring his consistency at the top of RCB's batting order throughout the campaign. Virat Kohli extended his own record for the most 50-plus partnerships in men's T20 cricket, now standing at 211 such stands — a landmark that further cements his standing in the format's history.

Pace bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar continued to lead the Purple Cap standings with 24 wickets this season, making him the tournament's leading wicket-taker heading into the playoffs. Venkatesh Iyer provided RCB an explosive start in the chase, smashing 44 runs off just 19 deliveries before the innings unravelled against SRH's disciplined bowling attack.

Head Coach Andy Flower praised the squad's consistency over what he called a fiercely competitive group stage. 'To finish top of the league at the end of the group stage is a great effort. There are 10 very good teams in this competition and we've seen how competitive every side has been. Even teams lower down the table have shown how dangerous they can be when they play with freedom,' Flower said.

Batter Devdutt Padikkal stressed the importance of resetting mentally for the knockouts. 'You always look at things you could have done better, but over the course of 14 games, I think we have performed really well as a team. It's important now that we start fresh and take it one game at a time,' he said.
