Surat, Dec 29 (NationPress) Roundglass Punjab Hockey Club Academy clinched the title of the 3rd Hockey India Sub Junior Men Academy Championship 2025 – Zone A & B at the Veer Narmad South Gujarat University Hockey Ground in Surat, Gujarat, on Monday. The Army Boys Sports Company secured the runner-up position, while Sail Hockey Academy finished in third place.
The final saw Roundglass Punjab Hockey Club Academy triumph with a score of 2-0 against the Army Boys Sports Company. Ali Razzaq netted the first goal at the 35th minute, and Sanmukh Singh followed with another at the 56th minute, both crucial in claiming the championship.
In the battle for third place, Sail Hockey Academy dominated Ritu Rani Hockey Academy with a remarkable 7-0 victory. Arun Lakra scored twice (13’, 34’), with additional goals from Bikash Kaetha (15’), Mohmad Shahid (17’), Kailash Kujur (22’), Milan Athokpam (28’), and Malemnganba Akoijam (35’).
