In a remarkable display, Services reclaimed the team championship in the boys' category and achieved a resounding victory in the girls' section, dethroning the defending champions, Haryana, who secured second place in both categories.
With a string of impressive performances across various weight classes, the Services team concluded the week-long event held at the National Boxing Academy in Rohtak with a total of nine medals in each category.
The boys' team earned an impressive tally of six gold medals, two silvers, and one bronze, reaffirming their dominance, while the girls' squad delivered four golds, four silvers, and one bronze.
Maharashtra completed the podium in the boys' competition, while Manipur took third place in the girls' division.
In the girls’ events, several renowned athletes from India’s recent triumphs at the Asian U-15 & U-17 Championships continued to shine. Ahaana Sharma from Delhi maintained her stellar form, winning the 50kg final convincingly. Khushi Chand of Uttarakhand achieved a narrow 3-2 victory in the 46kg division, while Haryana’s Anshika proved her mettle in the 80+kg category.
