He praised the Khelo India initiative, emphasizing its role in enhancing athlete visibility: “The Khelo India Para Games is a significant step towards fostering inclusivity in Indian sports. It has given us a platform to compete alongside both established and emerging athletes, allowing us to learn and refine our skills.”
Aakansha, hailing from Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh, experienced a life-altering event when she lost her left leg above the thigh in a train accident in 2008. Determined to reshape her life, she turned to sports, taking up shooting in 2016.

This project exemplifies the foundation’s commitment to promoting inclusion and achieving excellence in sports. With the guidance of top-level coaching and innovative training techniques, the project has seen remarkable success, highlighted by an outstanding performance at the 5th National Para Shooting Championship.
Gagan Narang, an Olympic bronze medalist and founder of the Gagan Narang Sports Foundation, expressed his pride in the athletes' accomplishments.
