Rourkela, Jan 20 (NationPress) JSW Soorma Hockey Club secured a narrow victory against Shrachi Rarh Bengal Tigers with a score of 2-1 in an electrifying match during the men's segment of Hockey India League (HIL) 2024-25, taking place at the Birsa Munda Hockey Stadium in Rourkela on Monday. The goals for Soorma were netted by Prabhjot Singh (21') and Maninder Singh (28'), while Jugraj Singh (39') was the sole scorer for the Tigers.
The first quarter commenced with both teams displaying remarkable speed and intensity. They made several impressive incursions into their respective striking circles that resulted in numerous penalty corners, yet neither team managed to convert any into goals.
